Object :  Proposal  concerning RADIO MEGASUD

Radio Megasud  is a community-serving radio station which serves the community of Beraud,Cayes,South of Haiti since the year of 2000 has for mission in the socio-educative and sets itself the task of informing and educating all points of view, society in general and youth in particular.But it comes after several natural desaters striking the country.Since the station itself cannot meet this requirement,because it serves the south community so disinterested that is the objective of this small project to get the station up and running.

Objective  : 

1-To offer a legacy to the Haitian people of the South of Haiti.

2-To promote a live Community Radio which are monitored and updated 24h in the South from the town of Leogane Department of west of Haiti  to Port-a-Piment Department of south of Haiti.

3-To connect the South’s Haitian Community to the Haitian Communities in the world, with emphasis concerning education,young community,health,mental attitude,civic engagement,social development etc. 

4-To create a link that will allow journalists from MEGASUD, the Haitian Radio, to corporate with differents entities in Florida, New York etc…, and the radio will be use by the organisations themselves for their prime sources, news and community informations.

5-To establish a lot of exchanges to various institutions (private and development) in the diaspora specially involved in humanitarian help, development, education or affirmative action in the South of Haiti.

Supporting facts :

The  Haitian community in the South of Haiti is growing fast, there is an influx of information and the necessity to adequately present it. The community is in need of a permanent radio with a large area cover for objectif dialogue and community services. Radio Megasud is the solution. His community interest concern administratives affairs,communication,health,education,agriculture,nutrition,civil rights,sports,etc.Radio Megasud is waiting for your support!
